How to Get Answer to Your Life Trouble

On my soul, why are thou cast down within me?”

Therefore my thoughts answer me, because of the waste within me” --Job 20:2 (RSV)

The word ‘haste’ can also mean “troubled” “confused” “disturbed” “In distress” and “anxious”.

The Haste Within…

David, the Psalmist said, “Oh my soul, why are thou cast down within me?”-- Psalm 42:5

There are times we feel troubled, disturbed or anxious within ourselves and we find it real hard to figure out what  really is the cause.
Remember?
Ya...those times you ask yourself, "Oh...what is the problem with me! why am I like this...gush! I feel terrible with myself, and I just can't place it!"

This is what I called  P.P. E- PSYCHOLOGICAL PITFALL EXPERIENCE

Experience has taught me that, “When I can’t figure out the answer to my disturbed and troubled soul, it makes me feel helpless, discouraged and frustrated. And when this state last for too long than expected, it will lead me into depression and cast down”.

David, the Psalmist, found himself in such a situation where he could not figure out why he is in distress within himself.
And this made cried out, “On my soul, why are thou cast down within me?”

Even though David, like us, found himself in this psychological pitfall, he did something that triggered and transform my life forever.

What could that be…?

He practiced THE ART OF SELF-QUESTIONING!

He understood perfectly well the power of questioning yourself

Now some people called this madness.
When they hear you questioning yourself, they mock and ridicule you.
But you should say what Job said: “Bear with me, and I will speak, after I have spoken, MOCK ON”. (Job 27:3)

This is an incredible secret and practice that would get any one out of any P.P.
YOU MUST LEARN TO TALK TO YOUR SOUL!

When you feel troubled, disturbed or anxious, what do you do?
Talk to your soul…talk to your mind.

Then you ask, “But why should I talk to my soul?” “What does this has to do with me getting out of my P.P??”

Good.

Job (probably this man is an authority when it comes to sorrow, distress and multiple troubles) said, “Therefore my thoughts answers me, because of the haste within me”.

Let me re-frame this verse for clear understanding.
Job, in other words, said, “Therefore by my thoughts I draw up answers for my disturbed and troubled soul”.

Wow! You can't that!

The Power of Thoughts

Thoughts are so powerful.

They have power and influence over your feelings.

Bad feelings are caused or created by negative thought(s).
Negative thoughts means to think wrongly or out of line”
Whenever you think out of line, you must know that you are creating a seed that will germinate into P.P.

To get put of your P.P (I hope you still remember what it means-- psychological pitfall), you have to change or replace your negative thoughts, mentality or mindset.

But wait a minute…

How do I know the state of my mind?

GOOD.

You must consciously learn to listen to those silent words running or playing in your mind. Ask yourself, how healthy is my mind or my thoughts?”

Note: "To change a bad feeling, is to replace it with a good thought”.

Draw some answers for your soul today.

Feed your soul with good thoughts and you shall be healthy and happy.

P.S:  A healthy thought-life is a healthy life!
