How to Inspire and Influence People through Praise

“….the Lord has anointed me to ….give them the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit”---Isaiah 61:1-3 (RSV)

Let us try to understand the meanings of the keywords
And then try to apply and analyze them.

Keyword 1: ANOINTED:

To be anointed means: to be empowered; given ability, power or unction; a might or an enablement to do something.

TRUTH: When God created you He has anointed you…put inside of you power  and enablement to be able to fulfill your purpose in life.

Keyword 2: TO GIVE: God created us to GIVE.

Yes; we are in this world to reproduce, fill, replenish, add and give value to this world.
Have you ever asked yourself this question: “Why is that when a man dies he takes nothing along to his grave?”

Here is the answer: A man was created to GIVE, therefore we all came to live a giving life.
We are anointed to GIVE.
There is so much we can give…
Our talents, love, care, strength, money, skills, knowledge, resources…just name it.
A life that is not constantly giving out something is perhaps living out of His Divine Order.

 Keyword 3: MANTLE OF PRAISE:

First of all, let’s know the meaning of the word ‘mantle’
According to Webster dictionary, mantle means ‘a loose sleeveless outer garment or something that covers or wraps’.

This is amazing!

The truth it offers is just mind blowing.
What then is mantle of praise?
It means… a praise that wraps or covers one like a garment!

TRUTH: We have been appointed and anointed to give out praise that will wrap or cover others like a garment. It’s like buying a beautiful cloth for someone!

To cloth people with PRAISE, we must learn to praise people genuinely and generously.
Let us not let the garment of praise we have to rust in our wardrobe.
We must give it out!

Keyword 4: FAINT SPIRIT:

This is what you must never do.
But the truth is that I have seen too many people do this all the time.

What is a faint spirit?

Faint spirit means to be broken-hearted; downcast; hopeless; depressed; mourning; sad and discouraged.
Giving a faint spirit means causing people to be discouraged; beaking people’s heart; causing them pain and taking away their joy.

Are you one of those that give out faint spirit instead of a mantle of praise? (EXAMINE YOUR WAYS)
You must go back to your divine order.

We are always very quick to criticize and judge when the job is done poorly, and we are very slow to give out praise and compliment when to job is done well.

***CHANGE YOUR ORIENTATION***

Why WE Must Give Out Praise Generously…

Praise makes people feel loved
Praise inspires boldness and confidence in people
Praise create motivation and force in people
Praise makes people feel important.
Praise brings out the beauty and smile of people

Give out some praise today

This is my praise to you: “Everything about you is Special!”

How to Get Answer to Your Life Trouble

On my soul, why are thou cast down within me?”

Therefore my thoughts answer me, because of the waste within me” --Job 20:2 (RSV)

The word ‘haste’ can also mean “troubled” “confused” “disturbed” “In distress” and “anxious”.

The Haste Within…

David, the Psalmist said, “Oh my soul, why are thou cast down within me?”-- Psalm 42:5

There are times we feel troubled, disturbed or anxious within ourselves and we find it real hard to figure out what  really is the cause.
Remember?
Ya...those times you ask yourself, "Oh...what is the problem with me! why am I like this...gush! I feel terrible with myself, and I just can't place it!"

This is what I called  P.P. E- PSYCHOLOGICAL PITFALL EXPERIENCE

Experience has taught me that, “When I can’t figure out the answer to my disturbed and troubled soul, it makes me feel helpless, discouraged and frustrated. And when this state last for too long than expected, it will lead me into depression and cast down”.

David, the Psalmist, found himself in such a situation where he could not figure out why he is in distress within himself.
And this made cried out, “On my soul, why are thou cast down within me?”

Even though David, like us, found himself in this psychological pitfall, he did something that triggered and transform my life forever.

What could that be…?

He practiced THE ART OF SELF-QUESTIONING!

He understood perfectly well the power of questioning yourself

Now some people called this madness.
When they hear you questioning yourself, they mock and ridicule you.
But you should say what Job said: “Bear with me, and I will speak, after I have spoken, MOCK ON”. (Job 27:3)

This is an incredible secret and practice that would get any one out of any P.P.
YOU MUST LEARN TO TALK TO YOUR SOUL!

When you feel troubled, disturbed or anxious, what do you do?
Talk to your soul…talk to your mind.

Then you ask, “But why should I talk to my soul?” “What does this has to do with me getting out of my P.P??”

Good.

Job (probably this man is an authority when it comes to sorrow, distress and multiple troubles) said, “Therefore my thoughts answers me, because of the haste within me”.

Let me re-frame this verse for clear understanding.
Job, in other words, said, “Therefore by my thoughts I draw up answers for my disturbed and troubled soul”.

Wow! You can't that!

The Power of Thoughts

Thoughts are so powerful.

They have power and influence over your feelings.

Bad feelings are caused or created by negative thought(s).
Negative thoughts means to think wrongly or out of line”
Whenever you think out of line, you must know that you are creating a seed that will germinate into P.P.

To get put of your P.P (I hope you still remember what it means-- psychological pitfall), you have to change or replace your negative thoughts, mentality or mindset.

But wait a minute…

How do I know the state of my mind?

GOOD.

You must consciously learn to listen to those silent words running or playing in your mind. Ask yourself, how healthy is my mind or my thoughts?”

Note: "To change a bad feeling, is to replace it with a good thought”.

Draw some answers for your soul today.

Feed your soul with good thoughts and you shall be healthy and happy.

P.S:  A healthy thought-life is a healthy life!

7 Principles of A Positive Thinker

How Winners Think that the Poor and Failure Do Not
As Taught By Jose Mourinho

Why Do people succeed and others fail?

What constitute success in life?

Success in life is a function of the mind
--Napoleon Hill

Here the 7 Principles I learn from one of the greatest positive thinkers I have ever met or read about in life—Jose Mourinho.

1. Understand that you are a Special Person: Jose Mourinho said, “I am not the one who comes straight out of a bottle—I’m the special one”. You must understand who you really are. Poor self-image will only destroy your power to grow. The greatest discovery of humanity is the discovery of self worth.

2. The Winning Mentality: Mourinho said, “You have to win. When you don’t win, it is not good enough, when you finish second, it is not good enough, when you lose a final… it is not good enough”. This is the winning mentality. Never settle for less. You either get what you want or nothing less! Do not accept what the world offer you, you must skillfully seduced the world into given you what you want. For Mourinho, settling for less is as good as getting nothing. In you resolution to succeed, you must make up your mind to win and win at all cost. Any price is what paying to win.

3. The TOP—the sweetest place: Mourinho observed, “There is no pressure at the top. The pressure’s in being second or third”. As a positive thinker, you must never think that getting to the top will cause you more trouble, pressure, pain and trauma. For the winner, there is nothing like ‘fear of success’. If you ever want to get to the top in life you must at all cost break out from the ‘sickle’ mentality that says, “There is too much pressure or competition at the top”.

4. Leverage the power of human resources: Mourinho said, “I’m a manager of human resources and I have to work with everybody…” No man is an island. The man who doesn’t need people is perhaps the saddest man in the world. Without people, you can never get real far in life. As a positive thinker, you must get rid of the “know-it-all’” and “do-it-yourself” mentality.

5. Be open to learn, re-learn and keep learning: Mourinho said, “Those who think they know everything are truly ignorant. I want to learn something new everyday; it’s the type of person I am”. What kind of person are you? Do you learn something new everyday? As a positive thinker, you must keep an open mind and be flexible in your learning.

6. Mistake is no big deal: Mourinho said, “If I made a mistake I apologize. I am happy I’m not going to jail because of that”. Too many of us behave as if mistake or failure is illegal. Mistake is ethical, natural and part of life! A child will never walk if he is afraid to fall. (Think about that). Nobody is going to jail for a mistake. Mistake is no big deal! As a positive thinker, you must think and see failure as only a friend assisting you towards achieving your dream. Of a truth I have learn is that: mistake is really our best friend on our way to success.

7. You are truly the best: Mourinho bomb shelled, “There is nobody in the world better than me”. You are the best. Without you the world is incapacitated. The world needs you because it cannot do without you. Whatever happens to you will only reflect in the world. You must believe in your value and the image that was given to you by God. You are a god in this ‘ethnos’!

These principles as taught by the great football coach, Jose Mourinho, have been of great and tremendous help to my life and my way of thinking.

Remember: As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.

How to Develop Positive Attitude for Success

*ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING*

Your attitude determines who you are—your personality.

Actions, they say, speaks more than everything else.
Believe is a thought; actions expose our faith.

Attitude is life…

Our lives are determined by actions.
Our actions are determined by our attitude.
The issue of winning and loosing lies in the acres of attitude.
Your actions will lead you to sickness or good health.

Therefore, your attitude determines your result.

Positive attitude perhaps is the greatest asset for success, peace and prosperity.

Success comes to no man who will bring shame to her.
She grants only the request of those with positive attitude.

Positive attitude is the only asset that favors the owner both in failure or success, in sickness or health, in riches or poverty—in whatever state he or she may find his or her self.

True greatness, power and attitude are not seen in success or when things are going well, but rather in tough times!

Therefore positive attitude tells you to ‘cheer up’ even when you see no reason to. It encourages you when feeling downcast is absolutely okay. It tells you to have faith even when it makes no sense. It tells you to have a little patience even when you see the train passing by—it will come to you, it says!

Positive attitude is God’s ideal nature for man.
He wants us to think and see things beyond the human senses and emotions.

Positive attitude gives you power to take charge and be the ruler of your own emotions.

For you to develop and clean positive attitude, you must bind this to your heart:

That It All Starts With God…

This is the foundation for true character,
Every other one is absolutely faulty and futile.

The Bible says, “Every good gift comes from above—from God”.
Any man who desires positive attitude must first locate the source, and also, the giver of all true character”.
Many men try to develop and build positive attitude without God.

This truly amazes me…
It makes no sense for man to go swimming and say he doesn’t want the water to wet him.

Do not be deceived by the so-called wisdom of this age—the pop psychologist, philosophers, motivation and success writers and speakers, who will only feed you with junks like ‘you are all you need to succeed’, ‘only believe in yourself’, ‘see it and it is yours’, ‘just think positive and nature will obey you’.

Listen: don’t get me wrong.
What they say are correct and so very important.

What pains me is that many won’t drag you back to the foundation and the source—which I think is the most important ingredient in whatever dream or pursuit you engage yourself into.

Get to the source…and all your life problems are over.

“If any man lacks wisdom”, says God, “let him ask of me, who gives freely to all”.
Then Jesus said, “I am the way”.

Stephen Covey said, “First thing first”.
Yes…and, I think, that first thing is: Get connected to God.

Let him change and transform your life.
He wants to show you the way to enjoy peace, prosperity and success even when the world seems to be tearing apart!

Would you want to hold yourself back?
It depends on you if you can trust him to transform your life.

Remember, the starting point of any positive attitude starts with a positive step—which I besiege you to grab now.

David prayed, “Oh Lord, I beg thee, to give me good success”.

John Maxwell, world renowned leadership expert, wrote a book and titled it ‘Talent is Never Enough’.
He knows better as much as I do that: Success without character is success soon gone.

Fame and degrees is never enough.

Reaching the top is no longer an issue in our society today—because many are trooping there every second.

But ask yourself…
“How many are able to stay there?”

VERY FEW…ONLY THE FEW WITH POSITIVE ATTIDUTE!

Locate your God today…

Pray and ask Him—and I bet it He won’t give you serpent!
Don’t worry: He will give you, not because you deserve it, but because you ask for it.

The ball is now in your court. Be like Roger Federer—play the ball to God… and watch the serve He will return!

…Enjoy positive attitude to life and beyond…and may God make you worthy of His call.

REFLECTION: Success without character is success soon gone.
QUESTION TO ANSWER: What negative attitude do I need God to transform in my life today?

P.S: Don’t just read it—Live It!

The Greatest Knowledge In the World

And God blessed(1) them, and God said to them, “Be Fruitful(2) and multiply(3), and fill the earth(4) and subdue it(5); and have dominion(6)…”—Genesis 1:28

The Power of Knowledge

Proverbs 24:3 reads: “by wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches”
Why do people live in poverty and ashes? Why are their rooms empty? Why have peace, joy and fulfillment become a phenomena event in people’s lives?

The answer is quite simple: LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

By knowledge, we can live the higher life.

If what you know cannot change you, change what you know.

True knowledge will always lead you to peace, joy and prosperity. Without knowledge we are deformed and dead.

Only by knowledge we truly lived!

How true is your Knowledge?

What you know will determine the beauty or the ashes of your life. At this junction, you must understand that wrong knowledge is as dangerous and deadly as ignorance.

Knowledge has the potential power to either build or destroy your life. What you know will only lead you to freedom or bondage.

In your search for knowledge, you must seek the truth.
The transforming power of knowledge lies in the truth in it.
It is the truth of knowledge that will bring peace, joy and fulfillment to your life.

The Greatest Knowledge…

Today, I will share with you the greatest knowledge in the world. If only you have the knowledge of WHO YOU ARE and what you are BORN TO BE, you will heading for the greatest miracle of your life.

Only believe them and confess—speak it out—and they will become evidence in your life.

Created blessed…live the bless life: Before your mother ever conceived you in her womb, God has already blessed you. You are born blessed, meaning God has already qualified, approved and given you the license to live a blessed life.

Born to Succeed: This is the first evidence of the blessed life. A blessed life is a life of success. You are born to succeed. The word ‘fruitful’ means ‘very productive’ ‘bringing results’ and ‘to be successful’. Fruitlessness or failure is out of context in God’s preparation, formulation, designation and creation of you. (Psalms 1:3).

Born to multiply (increase): When God created you He programmed you to multiply. To multiply means ‘to increase in number’ ‘make or become more numerous’. You are not born to live a ‘just enough’ life; but the ever flowing abundant and higher life. (Genesis 26:12;John 10:10)

Born to be a Blessing: We are God’s vessels on this earth. You are born to fill the earth. We are to bring beauty and value to the earth, the nations, and the people… (Our friends, loved ones and family). The third evidence of the blessed life is becoming a blessing to other people’s lives. We are to make impact in our environment. The world is a garden…we are only to water this garden. (Genesis 12:2)

Born to subdue: Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4). We have the license to control our environment. We are authorize to influence our ‘ethos’—the world around us. We are managers of this earth. The world is under your control, never let it control you. To subdue means ‘to overcome’ ‘to manage’ ‘to put under control’. This is the fourth evidence of the blessed life—the victorious life.

Born to rule: You are born to be a king, ruler and a governor of the earth-domain. You are to lead in your area. You are to have dominion over the territory assign to you by God—how many people even know their territory assign to them! God created you and put all things on this earth under you feet and nothing shall by any mean exercise power over you. (Luke10:19). You are a judge and a god on this earth. (Psalms 82:6)

These six divine truths is the greatest knowledge in the world.

WHEN YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU CAN BECOME, NO ONE WILL EVER TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE NOT AND WHAT YOU WILL BECOME.

If you believe in this knowledge and confess it with your mouth and act upon it, you are sure to live the most glorious and fulfilled life here and beyond…

To your greatness

How to Become a Better Communicator

From the fruit of his words a man is satisfied with good…” (Proverb 12:14)

The Power of Words

By your speech your character is unfold.

Your words are like a mirror…they create the image of who you really are—and what you tend to become!

Our words can tell where we are probably heading to—they are like whirlwinds!

From the fruit of a man’s word he will be recompense with either good or evil.
As a man thinketh , so is he; but as a man speaketh, so he will become!

Become a Better Communicator

There are some important principles you have to understand about successful communication.

You must master them to be able to become a better and a winning communicator. You can win people over and influence the large crowd through these rules.

Be persuasive…Never be forceful: “A gentle tongue is a tree of life… (Proverb 15:14). “A soft word will break a bone”. You must learn to be persuasive and seductive with your words. Speak the truth in love. Let your words be mixed with the fragrance of LOVE and you shall truly become a man of influence. Don’t play with this rule!

Be a Positive Speaker: “good (positive) news refreshes the bones” (proverbs 15:30b). You can bring healing, restoration, encouragement and consolation to people’s heart and soul by learning the art and skill of positive speaking.
“Pleasant words are like honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body” (proverbs 16:24). I can tell you what image this has great of me!

Please do not be known for negativity and complains. You have to learn to see life and every circumstance with faith and hope. People do not need another bad news reporter—CNN doesn’t need another recruit!

Be your mouth’s watchman: “a slip of the tongue is worse than a slip on the pavement”. You must be very cautious of what comes out of your mouth and the choice of words you utter. A slip of tongue is more costly than loosing $1,000 check bill! You must guard your reputation with your words, or you may alter it with your tongue.

Talk more through silence: God is a master communicator. That is why when He created you He designed and fixed man with a mouth and…two ears! He understands the power and importance of listening. We actually win and influence more by listening than through speaking. Every wants to speaks, only few are able to listen. If you understand the art and skill of listening, you will truly become a man of influence and a master communicator.

Speak the truth no matter what. “A thief is better than a habitual liar”. You cannot afford to build or create a reputation around lies. This is a reputation that has no remedy. But if people know you for honesty and truthfulness, even when you occasional lie, they will believe and defend you! “Righteous lips are the delight of a king, and he loves him you speak the truth” (Proverbs 16:13).

Today, you can improve you life by maximizing the power of communication.

Read and re-read this article. These rules will definitely change you life forever!

Keep your smile…enjoy the great life!

6 Unbreakable Laws of Higher Life

“Do you want to be a person of success?”
“Do you wish to live your life to the full?”
“How can I create the life I really want?” you asked

Today I will be sharing with you some concise,
straight and cutting-edge laws that will help you
create a life of value, success and fulfillment.

Use them and you are sure a good life will be your friend.

Law number 1: Seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding;
for without these treasures of the mind you will be blown away by the wind of life.
Remember: A transformed mind gives birth to a transformed life

Law number 2: There are countless opportunities in life.
There is always space in the mountain and room in the house.
There is no limit to how far you can go in life.
The glory of life is immeasurable, and there is nothing
like impossibility in its design. This is the perception you
must have about Life.
Remember: Your greatest enemy is your thoughts.
You can never get further than your thoughts.

Law number 3: Value your life and life will value you.
Ignore life and life will feed you with dust!.
Be at peace with the Owner of your WELL and
you are guarantee a steady streams of water.
Agree with God. Never allow anything interupts or anticipate your relationship with God—your creator.
Remember: we are only but a mere breath and a handmaid of God. If He(God) decides to take his breath(life) from us, we will return to the dust..

Law number 4: Never give or allow anyone to assume or take responsibility of your life. Never put or fix the blame of whatever happens to you on someone. Don’t let anyone take your responsibility.
You are the architect of your life.
You must overcome the ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ of this world. You can become whatever you choose to.
Remember: “For each man (including you) will have to bear (carry and take responsibility) of his own load”—Galatians 6:5

Law number 5: Vision is the light of journey of life.
Without vision you are sure to stumble.
No man gets to his destination with a clear vision.
Life is a narrow journey full of many dangerous.
Do not take any step without first opening the eye of your mind to see what is on your way.
How sweet is life when we have vision of where we are going? But how can a man discern or know where he is going without seeing through God's eye? Think about it!
Remember: Your eye is the light of your body. Without the eye the whole body is left in darkness and doom.

Law number 6: Life and death are in the power of tongue.
Your mouth is the most significant weapon to create the life you want.
With our mouth we sow the seed of our now and our future.
You are what to speak. Your tongue is empowered with the ability to create or re-create your life.
Remember: The tongue is the driver, sailor and pilot of the human life.
We must direct and dictate it to favor ourselves and not to work against us.

Conclusion: If you want to live the higher life—the ever flowing prosperous life—you must bind these laws to your heart.
Use them as a guide everyday.
If you transgress in any of them you will pay dearly for it.
They are absolute-unbeatable laws you must obey if you want to live beyond the crowd.

How to Make Your Greatness Count

“…and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a BLESSING”

-Genesis 12:2

The Purpose of Greatness

Dr. Myles Munroe once said, “Where there is no purpose, abuse is inevitable”.

Robert Kiyosaki, author of the record best-selling Rich Dad Poor Dad, observed,

“We are poor not because we lack the know-how but because we fail to ask the ‘WHY”

God is a God of Purpose. The world we live in was founded on purpose. Nothing, I repeat, nothing was ever created by accident or coincidence.

The Purpose-Driven Greatness

There is a purpose for greatness.

There is a purpose for growth.

Without responsibility maturity is futile!

Growth without responsibility is immaturity.

All humanity quest for growth, greatness and position;

but only few are able to gather ‘enough why’ for this quest and ambition.

LISTEN: “Greatness without an accumulated WHY is an accidental discharge,

and will only end you in a garage!

There is a purpose-driven greatness!

This is the greatness that counts.

This is the greatness that has an out-stretched arm to affect humanity and transform lives.

Recently, my Brother came to me and said, “Look Bro, there is no life without making an impact”.

Yes; this is true.

The God-Kind of Greatness

Here is God concept for Greatness: He said to Abraham,

“Look son, I want to bless you, give you a very great name,

so that you will be in a position where you can bless, enrich

and impact success on other also”. (My emphasis on Genesis 12:2)

Just pause and think about that underlined word: SO THAT.

This is the intention and reason for our greatness.

Our aim for greatness is SO THAT

So that we can be a blessing to others.

We want to be a light, so that we can shine on others.

*Greatness is not an end to itself; but a means to an END*

TODAY…

Come on! Awake and arise.

It’s time for every one of us to start making our greatness count...

...a greatness that must become a blessing.

Let us not abuse that which has been given to us by grace.

The thirsty land cries for your water…

You are great.

Become a blessing today…and make your greatness count!

REFLECTION: A tree that does not bear fruits shall be cut down

CONFESSION: “I am great. I will be a blessing to my generation. I will put a smile to the face of my neighbor. Every day I shall make my greatness count…so help me God. AMEN!”
