How to Build and Maintain Your Integrity

“He who walks in INTEGRITY walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out”- Proverbs 10:9

Your Happiness at Stake

I have always said—and I will keep saying—that, “Life is not all about been happy or achieving and possessing things”. (It doesn’t matter if you don’t agree with me)
Men of integrity always know that their personal happiness, comfort and satisfaction is always at stake when it comes to focusing on doing the right things.

People who make ‘self’ their priority never build or maintain good integrity. To them it’s always a battle between emotion and righteousness.

The Super Integrity

Integrity is everything a man should be.
Integrity is the ability to be yourself even when the world is trying to make or force you to be someone else.
Integrity is the ability of being true to your self even when the world is seeing as a bastard liar!
It’s all about being ORIGINAL.
Men of integrity are the greatest any day; people who have the courage to face TRUTH…people who do the RIGHT THINGS because it is right.

Before You Can Maintain Good Integrity…

Like I said earlier, your happiness sometimes is at stake when it comes to building a good integrity.
There are times a decision to do the ‘right things’ may seem, at first, a neck-cutting decision. But later you start reaping the rewards.
Sometimes you really have to grind your teeth and pass through some burning coals on your feet for integrity sake. But whatever it may be, it’s always worthwhile. It pays a lot to be a man of integrity!

Doing the Right Things Will Build and Maintain Your Integrity

The most important question for anyone who wants to build his/her integrity is this: “If I am to choose between happiness and righteousness, what would be my choice
The man who makes his personal satisfaction and comfort is major life priority will never be a man of integrity.
If your life is only base on your personal comfort and success you can as well stop reading this now because, after all, it will make no sense to you.

I want to talk to people who, no matter the pleasure or reward, would always ask, “Is this the right thing?” before jumping into any decision or action.
*Become righteousness-driven!*

Here is Some Attributes Associated with Men of Integrity:

1. They create value in other people’s lives, rather condemning

2. They nurture their kids to know moral principles, rather than always shopping for the latest fashion clothes for them.

3. They always build a network with wise and experienced people, rather than make friends with 'street wags'.

4. They put God first in the centre of everything they do, rather then counting on their abilities, IQ, Power, etc.

5. They believe in sharing and showing hospitality to people, rather than hiding the 'bunch of bananas' in their cupboard.

6. They understood the purpose why they are alive and they are willing to follow and die in that path, rather than seeing and living life like an evolution or accident.

7. They take charge of their emotion and desires, rather than being a slave to their feelings and circumstances.

8. They always want to live a positive mark in the generation, rather than being latest passing 'vehicle'.

9. They always have passion for learning, seeking information, and continuous self- improvement, rather than getting stocked like a dumped train!

10. They are leaders in their territory. They always want to be the best and set example for others to follow, rather than living life based on people's opinion and direction.

You must strive to be a man of INTERGRITY. Follow these laws and secrets and they will add value to your life and lives around you.

Action tip: Go for change; not pleasure
Never get frustrated; get challenged
Never judged; Advice

Enjoy a dynamic life!

How to Get What You Want

What Are You Looking For?

The principle of getting what you want starts with knowing what you want

If you don’t know what you want, you will try to have everything—which of course I know you don’t have where to keep them!
My straight talk is this: Be specific with you want (and of course the things you also don’t want) and you will find out that achieving them will practically become easier, faster, and even better.
Another important truth is that; when you don’t know what you want, the world will try to give something less. People will deceive and play tricks on you like the American football! Again, you must understand what you are looking for. Don’t give aimless punch!

Learn to Take the Initiative…

What is initiative?
According to Oxford Learner’s Dictionary, it writes, “It is the ability to decide and act on your own without waiting for somebody to tell you what to do”.
Hear this loud and clear: You won’t get much help depending on others; you’ll have to learn to use your initiative. The choleric people know and live by this. This is a rule of life.
The world bestows its big prizes both in money and honors for but one thing,” says Elbert Hubbard, “And that is INITIATIVE”.

What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do…

One of the greatest barriers of success and achievement is CONFUSION…getting stuck in the mould at ‘Nowhere Ville’.

What do I do when I don’t know what to do?
Great question!
For the secret of getting what you want is really to know what to do when you don’t know what to do? How does it sound? Whatever may be the case, it is but the TRUTH.
You don’t have to put a gun in your head just because you lost ideas, or became blank in the middle of a very important project. It is normal, and part of life. Everybody some how have come across such situation…like when you don’t know what to do anybody, so damn confused and perplexed and wanting to die!

What to Do

First of all, you must admit that you can’t know or have everything.
Therefore if this is true, then you would need PEOPLE.
Yes people! It’s the secret.

Here are 3 Powerful Principles that will give you whatever you want…even when you don’t know what to do:

“ASK and it shall be given to you, SEEK and you shall find, KNOCK and the door will be open to you”—Matthew 7:7

1.The Power of ASKING: God says, “My son, what the hell do you want! If you don’t know what you want, then there is nothing I can really do”.
Yes it is my desire to give you something, but not until I know that which you want my hands are tied”. Please release the hands of God. Give him the license to bless you. Who say silence is golden? If you close your mouth, well don’t say didn’t tell you!
The rules: Don’t ask for the wrong things; don’t say ‘I can’t have it’; don’t ask without a good enough purpose or reason; don’t conclude in your heart without first asking; ask and receive!

2. The Power of SEEKING: A ridiculous story was told about a man who went to the graveyard. He was just moving and looking around until a man watchman came and then ask me the very straight-forward question: “what are you looking for?”
Listen, this is dead serious; if you don’t know what you are looking for, it’s better to stay at home watching WWE or playing your favorite video game!
“I game to look for some books”, the man ridiculously replied
“Ah! You can’t find books here. You are at the wrong place. You can only find such things in the library or bookstores” The Watchman advised, “But wait…”He continued, “Why would you be looking for a book in a graveyard?” He asked the astonishing, who just left disappointed.
Yes, you will always be disappointed if you keep searching the wrong places!
I will keep saying this: “Whatever you seek is also seeking for you. You just have to be at the right spot for you to grab it. Learn the hunter’s lesson; who always knows where to get the big rabbits!"

3. The Power of KNOCKING: What would keep a man standing at a door for hours waiting for it to be opened when He has not given a KNOCK?
The only way to can get someone’s attention is by knocking.
Most times, even if you are knocking, you are probably not the only one knocking at the door. There are many others giving the same knock too.
But what makes yours different? Who will the owner open the door for? I’ll tell you. It’s the man who gives the LOUDEST knock!
Here is a problem: I have found out too many of are not always there when the door is usually open. The reason is because we are not patience enough to wait for response after the knocking. There is one thing to knock, but another thing is to WAIT. The lucky folks who are patience enough will always be in the wining end.

I have shared with you three powerful principles given by Jesus, the all- masterful Teacher and Savior.
Jesus asked a question, “Which Father will give to a Child serpent when the child is actually asking a Fish?” Of course no Father!
So, we all most learn to ask, seek and knock for whatever our heart desires—but not be the right thing— and we will surely get it.
I will stretch out here that some others priceless qualities you need to bear in mind if you want these three principles to walk magic for you, are PERSEVERANCE, DETERMINATION, PATIENCE and FAITH.

Enjoy more success!

10 Simple Rules for Super Achievement

What You Must Keep At the Back of Your Mind
Before You Can Win Your Flight Ticket!

Someone was complaining to me, “Rufus, I need some change in my life. What is your advice on what to do?” he asked
“What can you do?” I thought in my mind, “Well, I doubt if there is really any thing you can do to change your life”. Very shocking reply, isn't it? But what do I really mean?

You see; most times people expect me to give them some so-called ‘secrets’ which they think is the only way out from their situations. But my reply to anyone who wants change in his life has always been a simple and straight statement: “Change your mind… and you will change your life”. SIMPLE!
For as long as you are with your old heart and spirit there is really nothing I can do.

This brings me to say that, if you really want to get the best out of this dreams or goals, then I think you really have to help yourself- that is you must follow and abide in these simple rules I will be sharing with you…

Have God’s Approval: If it’s not the Will of God for you going into any venture, then you are probably wasting your time. In verse twenty-one of chapter nineteen of the book of proverbs says, “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.

2. Have Desire: If you don’t have a strong enough desire for change or success, then you will not get real far. You need a desire stronger than death!

3. Have Purpose/Passion: You must have a strong enough reason why you want success or change.. But Why? Because if you don’t have a good enough intent or reason, then you will only be a slave to your impulse and emotion. You must also fall in love with whatever you do or choose to do. Enthusiasm produces energy. Purpose produces Passion.

4. Grit/Determination: You must know that in any venture, there is also an adventure in it. So you must be determined enough to grind your teeth to scale through all hurdles and obstacles on your way to achievement.

5. Vision/Mission: You must strive to always know where you are going. How important? I don’t know. What I know is that, when you loose focus for 10 seconds when driving you might end up spending eternity in River Nile! Also; you must have a concrete mission and expectation in whatever venture you take.

6. Positive Attitude: A great man once said… “Our attitude towards a subject will determine the source of its power.” This is an absolute truth!
When you show lack of concern towards your goals, the results it will bring will definitely make you sad.
One perfect attitude that brings great results is: Paying attention to every detail. All successful people have this attitude. You too must build on it.

7. Personal Development: A young-inspiring lawyer came to Abraham Lincoln to reveal to him the secret of success. Lincoln looked at him for a while and said, “Go get and read books, continue developing your mind”.
Also, just as the immortal Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “it is the inmost that gives birth to the outmost”. Successful mind breeds a successful man.
You must focus on self-study. Very important!
Brian Tracy observed that, “If a man reads one book a week consistently in his chosen field, and he does that for over 12 months; he would definitely become an expert in that field.” Try it!

8. Networking: People who need people are the wealthiest people in the world.
Building relationship that works is perhaps the single most important component for success. If your contact is dead, forget about the venture.
“No man is an island” is perhaps one of the biggest truth we all must accept and follow.
Robert Kiyosaki, author of the famous Rich Dad Poor Dad, said, “The poor focus on their job, but the Rich builds their network..
If Jesus Christ himself would need the 12 disciples for his ministry, what about you?
You must build your network…and make your contact count!

9. Effort: Abraham Lincoln would always tell people, “work, work, work!” It’s the key to success.
The immortal Paul the Apostle gave an instruction that, “He who is not willing to work should not eat.
Effort is very essential. Forget what the so-called system-gurus keep saying about ‘Achieve your Dreams No effort Stress-Free…Even a Dumb can do it’ This is just bunch of sales-letter junks!
The only place you can achieve your dreams by sleeping in your soft-bed or watching the Hollywood , is in the graveyard!
The Bible says, “Awake from your sleep, O sluggard! Or poverty will come like a thief upon you”.

10. Patience/Commitment: You must know that there is time for everything… and that Nature also plays an important role in either our success or failure in life. So, whenever you give a knock, you must be able to wait long enough for it to be open for you. You must strive you see the very end in every beginning. Like my mum use to say, “Be Patient, the last soup is the best!”
You cannot predict or tell when The Great Giver of success will grant unto you the result of your labor. So be COMMITED.
How far are you willing to go in your goals or dreams? Are you willing to scrap through the hurdles and discouragements you find on the way?
Please don’t drop out when you name is about to be announced. Stay in there. You will definitely, for sure, succeed!

These are the 10 simple rules for super achievement. Keep these easy-to-follow rules as you prepare for your flight ticket, and you will definitely catch up with the plane!

Enjoy more success!

How to Get the Best Out of Yourself

The Power Within

**You have what it takes**

You have the dynamism to cause change in your environment, your nation, and (at least if you would think a little bigger) your world.

I am not blabbing. I know the last time you might have check yourself at the mirror in your bedroom, you may have seen quite the contrary- that is a poor, lonely, frustrated and hopeless YOU and nothing more.
…but I’ve got good news for you!
I don’t really care what the study about yourself really is or whether your circumstances is kissing you too hard. The truth of life is that, the power of the mirror is only useful to the physical manifestation of things. The mirror makes no sense when it comes to figuring out things that are spiritual, unseen or within. The truth about yourself cannot be seen through a mirror.

**There is an untapped wealth inside of you**
There is a superior power within you that only need to be unleash to spark the miracle the world is waiting for.
What I am telling has nothing to do with you believing it or not; it’s but the PROFOUND truth that you have no choice but to accept.

Within lies all you need.
Within lays the POWER.
Within lies the uncommon treasure that would feed our hungry-stricken world…

The world is waiting…
How long will you keep hiding in your cave?
Don’t ask where the power is; just figure it out.
You will never understand the mystery of what lies within you until you try to figure it out.

Unleash Your Very Best

**Usain Bolt has taken Beijing by storm at the 2008 Olympics. Bolt electrified 90,000 fans at the Bird's Nest, striking not once but thrice with world records. First, he blew away the field in the 100m on Aug. 16, lowering his own world record to 9.69 seconds despite looking around, raising his arms out and then pounding his chest over the last few meters. Then he became the first man since Carl Lewis to sweep in the 100m and 200m at the Olympics, and he broke Michael Johnson's 12-year-old record in the process. Bolt dominated the field to clock 19.30, bettering Johnson's mark by .02. Finally, Bolt ran the third leg of Jamaica's 4x100m relay, handing off to Asafa Powell, who brought it home for an easy gold. **
After such a huge success, this man did not relent or decide to travel for a long vacation to the East or Secret Place like most people do; rather He made a shocking statement when preparing for another Event shortly after his Olympic success.
I want to get my blood pumping again,” said Usain Bolt, “and I want to do more and achieve more”.

Bolt knew that the power within a man cannot be measured, evaluated, or perceived by winning Olympic medals (or setting records or gaining rewards); but rather, when you dare for more.

One of the most difficult researches in human history is this: finding a man who may have reached his/her full potential and power.
No matter what we think we have done, it’s always half-way of our power.
**The world only has great men with half-fulfilled potentials. (I am sorry to say).

…but I have a dream: My dream is to one day see a world…a world where everyone would be able to recognize his/her potential and power and use it to the growth of humanity and to glorify God the giver.

The Seven Golden Words for Getting the Best Out of Yourself

**One oft-told tale about Kissinger involved a report that Winston Lord worked on for four days. After giving it to Kissinger, he got it back with the notation, “Is this the best you can do?”
Lord rewrote and polished and finally resubmitted it; back it came with the same curt question. After redrafting it one more time- and once again getting the same question from Kissinger- Lord snapped, “Damm it, Yes, it’s the best I can do”. To which Kissinger replied, “Fine, then I guess I’ll read it this time.” (KISSINGER, WALTER ISAACSON, 1992)**

It will be a great tragedy for Senator Barack Obama to say ‘what else is there to achieve?’ after becoming the first Black-American to win the U.S presidency.
He recognized that, life is far larger than the U.S presidency!

**A top football club in Spain was having a terrible season, so they tried to figure out what is the source of there sudden break-down.
“Could it be injury problems?” thoughts began to fly around. “Could it be that the coach has lost its touch?” “Could it be that the players are not good emough?”
They search and search. There were no injury problem(s). The coach was practically okay and hasn’t really lost his touch, and also the players are good—at least it was this same crop of players that won the last season championship in a record breaking style.
“Then what could be the problem”, you may ask.
When one of their key players was approached to give his opinion about the terrible situation, He did not hesitate but said, “I think we have lost our motivation…our enthusiasm; for we saw nothing else to achieve after last season great success. This is why we are suffering and paying dearly for it.”**

What is truth!!!

To be sick means, not to have the spirit to pursue new things anymore; having no more dreams.

Life is better when we say ‘what next can I achieve’ rather down saying ‘what else is there to achieve?’

What makes men like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Jose Mourinho, David Beckham and so no, truly great?

Their secret is nothing but the self-question of ‘Is this truly the best I can do?’ becoming their watchword and motto.

You have no idea of how much power you’ve got inside when you learn to always look up to news things…new dreams…no matter what you have or have-not.
No matter the success, there is always a new season and also a new trophy to be won.

You must allow these seven golden words- is this the best I can do? - to become your guide and watchword..
It will inspire and it will awake the greatest giant the world has never seen

Yes; celebrate, enjoy, pat you back if you like, but the issue is never go to sleep.

ALWAYS DARE FOR MORE!!!

How to Overcome the Negative Concept of Life

What is Your Perception of Life?

Someone has to die in order that the rest of us should value life more
-- Virginia Woolf

Our lives are controlled by our perceptions.
I think the phrase that says 'what you see is what you get' is really making more head-waves than ever. It's truly an absolute truth we can bet our neck on!

You must first recognize your personal concept of life before you can fast-track your moves in life.

I had a friend who would always say, “Life is a battlefield!. Now is a preparing to take a military course to become the next soldier boy!
How else do you want me to tell you this: Life is not a battlefield; and you cannot fight its battles with bullets and knifes.

**It’s true that your CONCEPTS will always determine your ACTIONS**

Change Your Perception

My dear friend, if I may ask, what is your perception of Life? What have you conceived in your heart about the world you are living in?

Your current or present state is your yesterday’s conception. Your life-view point today will determine the kind of future you will have.
God cannot help a man with the WRONG mindset!
** You need to inquire a NEW heart and a sound mind… the one that connects to God’s concept, thoughts and ideas**

If you don’t like what you see in your life, change what you see about life.
If you see a ‘battlefield life’ like my friend, you will probably be carrying guns and knife!

A Life Greater Than Your Thin Perception

I have always tell- as many who cares to listen- that, “Life is not always about what we think is it or should be, cause it’s far larger than our thin perceptions.
Our concepts are measured by the level of our mindset.
Our mindset is determined by our training.
It’s really painful to observe that, most people’s life view-points are only the product of their up-bringing, environmental and association influence.

Your wrong concept of life is only caused by ignorance, misunderstanding and wrong judgment of God’s purpose, thoughts and ideas about life.
**When our concept differs from the creator then it’s said to be misconception**
“Our people perish for lack of knowledge” so says the Holy Scriptures.

The only way you can get the right mindset about life, which is very important if you want to live the right life, is to try as much as to get God’s Original intent, thought, plan, purpose and idea about life.
Why is this very important?
The way you can know the right and best use of any product is to get to the mind of the manufacturer or producer.
God owns life, including yours!
Why not find His thoughts about life rather than depending on your personal or people’s opinion. (Take this advice seriously)

Why Death Should Tell You Something…

It’s too sad to observe that, the only time people try to figure out the true meaning of life is when they are in a burial funeral!

Didier Drogba, one of Africa’s finest football players from Ivory Coast, stated, “The death of my grand mother completely struck me down, more than anything else. This made me to ask a few questions to myself. I wondered what I was running after. I said to myself that it was pretty useless to run after results, stats, or rewards”.

Virginia Woolf rightly said, ‘Someone has to die in order that the rest of us should value life more”.

Listen; not until you come to terms that, life does not consist in the abundance of things you have or have-not, you will never find any meaning about life… and you will only be beating an innocent air!
Life is not about having ‘things’; and not until you recognize, like Drogba, that it’s pretty and really useless to run after stats, results, records, or rewards, life will never make sense to you!

A Better…A Larger Perception

A is truly beautiful when you look at it beyond your emotion.

Life is no longer looking for men who are only running after its treasures and pleasures; but men (also women, boys, even children) who will make it more beautiful andturn it into a blessed ‘holiday garden’.

Change your perception… and live a better life!
